New club members may not be aware that Claro events are organised around the use of different teams – one for each of the major task s that needs to be undertaken at an event. Each Claro member is assigned to a team. When Claro puts on an event the organiser has the responsibility – with the help of each team leader – of ensuring that we have enough helpers for that event. Whilst being assigned to a team there is often opportunity to help out with other teams, depending on who is available and the requirements of any given event.

The String team has three families who take turns to do the string course – they also help out other teams. Any other family who would like to help with the string course would be welcome – just let Graham Ramsden know.

A number of members had not been assigned to teams so I have taken the opportunity of ensuring that everyone now is, as shown below :
