Wood and Heyshaw Moor near Pateley Bridge.
Parking at Glasshouses GR.SE172644 (on hard standing with
an 18 minute walk uphill to start. This is much shorter than past
events.) Post Code: HG3 5QH. The event will be signposted from the
cross roads at GR. SE176647. Car parking charge £1.00. |

Map and terrain |
1:10,000 for longer courses,
1:5,000 for short courses. 5 colour maps.
Mixed woodland with intricate contour detail and rocky
areas, runnable plantation and (on the longer courses) rough open
moorland. This is an excellent area (as good as Brimham) made better by
the shorter distance to the start. |

White to Black to comply with
the YHOA Super league. A string course will also be available. |

Registration - 10.00 to 12.00,
Starts - 10.30 to 12.30, Courses close 14:30 |

Fees |
Entry
on the day for all the courses. Fees: Seniors £6, Juniors £2;
(£2 extra for senior non-British Orienteering Members)
Dibber hire: Seniors £1.00, Juniors £0.50 |

Sportident will be used on all courses. |

Facilities |
Toilets in the car park. There will be none at the start. |

Dogs |
NO
DOGS due to the sheep farming in the area and to comply with BOF rules. |

Safety |
Competitors take part at their own risk and are responsible for their
own safety. If travelling alone, please leave car keys at registration.
Whistles are compulsory. Controller may ask for cagoules to be carried |
