    Map and terrain

1:10,000  map with 5m contours. Lindley Moor  comprises two connected areas. The Eastern area is forested, with some felled areas, gently sloping to the west with a few tracks,  numerous ditches and a mix of runability. The Western area known as Norwood Edge is steeper with rock features and varied vegetation. Accessing the most western area , Warren Plantation, involves a road crossing and is visited by the longer courses only. Competitors will need to take good care crossing the road.

Warren Plantation (also know as Stainburn) is popular with mountain bikers so please watch out for cyclists . It’s worth bringing your bike along for after the event if you like man made technical trails.
